ACCOMMODATION IN KRUGERSDORP

The Lodge has two (2) luxury Four Star Honeymoon Suites, twenty four (24) luxurious Four Star twin double bed rooms and twenty one (21) Four Star double rooms with a double bed or twin single beds, all en-suite and equipped with television and telephone.

Upstairs rooms (10 to 16) with their timber balconies overlook the reserve while ground floor rooms (1 to 9) open into the lush garden.

The new rooms (17 to 24) all have views of the reserve. For the more adventurous we have eight (8) Self Catering units, each with a double bed and two bunk beds and fully equipped amenities and central ablution facilities.

The main lodge has a cozy bush atmosphere, where you can enjoy a bar lunch at our bush bar or have a relaxed meal in the lounge.

The Four Star a La Carte restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

After indulging in our chef's superb specialties, you can retire to the
ladies bar for a night cap or a board game in front of the open fire.

For a function with a difference, consider a Bush
Braai at our lapa combined with a game drive for
the ultimate experience.

Our Auditorium seats 150 people and can be draped and decorated to suit any theme.

Eagle's Wing accommodates 200 people sit down / buffet or 250 people cocktail style (air conditioned).

Lapa accommodates 200 people sit down / buffet or 200 people cocktail style. Pool Deck accommodates 100 people sit down / buffet or 150 cocktail style.

Patio accommodates 60 people sit down / buffet or

Let us take the stress out of planning your big day. We have an exclusive venue, combining African structure with stunning effects and decor, and will take care of everything right down to the cake and flowers.

The chapel comfortably seats 160 guests overlooking the lion
enclosure and a lush garden with a picture perfect view. The venue is raised, so you can experience a true African sunset while enjoying the romantic atmosphere specially created for you.

CONFERENCE

The 'Big Cat', Lions Den and Eagles Nest Conference Rooms can be arranged in various configurations and seats up to 200 delegates. The 'Discovery' Board Room projects style and class. It seats 14 delegates.

At the "1998 Conference & Exhibition Venue" Awards Discover Lodge was voted one of the 'Top Five' conference venues in Southern Africa in the Exclusive Game Lodge Category.

RECREATION

GAME DRIVES

A guided game drive in an open vehicle is a must for any guest. This adventure can be combined with a real African Bush Braai.

THE AVIARY

The largest enclosed aviary in the Southern Hemisphere. Beautiful walkways with plenty of benches to sit and study natures winged miracles. Indigenous flora keeps our birds safe and comfortable.

QUAD BIKING, PAINTBALL AND ARCHERY

For the ultimate outdoor adventure make use of our Quad oval track. Quad bikes are available for young and old, but feel free to bring your own. Come and play the ultimate family game – paintball. Paintball guns and all protective gear are available and the setting is great. For those with more supple taste, try your hand at archery. Curve bows and protective clothing are once again available but if you wish to bring your own we have the rest.

4X4 TRAILS

We understand how precious your outing is, so come and join us for an experience you will never forget. For real adventure and fun, you now have the opportunity to the great African Outdoors and above all, you will find that you will
never be the same again. So don’t wait, come and revitalize yourself. You can use a Discover Lodge vehicle and be coached by our instructor. The 4x4 track is open to the public, using their own vehicles or quad bikes.
